Here is Our Chapter House on the South Side of Campus.

2253 Murray Hill Rd, Cleveland, OH 44106

  • The house is a part of University Housing and has 18 single bedrooms for Brothers to live in.

  • It is about a 5 minute walk to the Main Quad.

  • There are three floors and a basement. The ground floor has a common room, bathroom, and kitchen. The two upper two levels have bedrooms and restrooms, including two showers per floor.

  • All bedroom furniture is provided by the university, which includes a Twin XL bed, a desk, a chair, a bureau, and drawers (very similar to the dormitories).

What is Beta about?

Our focus here is to build a strong community of Brothers that want to better themselves and each other. This is achieved by holding one another accountable to our five publicly stated values and strengthening our social skills through events, bonding activities, and living together.

What is your average GPA?

Our average GPA for Fall 2023 was a 3.56. While not an academic fraternity, we do hold ourselves to achieve the best grades that we can. Classes and academic success always take priority.

What does this Chapter have to offer?

The General Fraternity provides a plethora of leadership opportunities for undergraduate students. This includes the Wooden Institute, the Keystone Leadership Conference, and the Chapter President’s Leadership Academy.

Is this an academic fraternity?

No, Beta Theta Pi is a social fraternity that aims to develop Men of Principle. We closely follow our five guiding principles of mutual assistance, intellectual growth, trust, responsible conduct, and integrity.

Does this Chapter drink a lot?

No, we are a dry house, which means that no alcohol or drugs of any kind are allowed on the premises or at any sponsored events. Drinking jeopardizes our values and being a dry house ensures the safety and success of its members.

How big is this chapter?

We are currently made up of 27 undergraduate students from Case Western Reserve University. However, we also include any students from the Cleveland Institute of Art and Cleveland Institute of Music.
